Front Pads for a HGT

Can anyone recommend a nice set of pads for the front of my HGT...

I don't want to spend loads on a set (I have plenty of other mods i want to spend money on ), but i would prefere a set that didnt chuck out so much dust, as i am getting fed up of cleaning my front wheels (I am a bit of a middle peddle hog..lol)

Also...
How hard are they to fit...i've have fitted pads to a couple of Fiesta's, Corolla's, with no problems...or how much should i be looking to pay to have them fitted.

I changed mine shortly after buying it and used Mintex. They took about 45 mins or so to fit and there wasn't too much powder off them.

I got mintex on my 147 thay seem ok well it stops
if you can fit pads in a fiesta you will have no prob

For 'stock' pads I'd go mintex or ferodo, for uprated use red dot. EBC are only really good if you want low dust.

Easy to change the pads, about 30-40 mins.

Green stuff? That's what I was recomended for no dust, haven't tried them though so can give an opinion.

i had some greenstuff pads on a 1.6si rover they were really good except that i wore them down really quick they cost me about 35 brick. they are made up from a slightly softer compound than standered pads but they are the buisness. now red stuff pads are made by the same people but made from a harder compound i was told to use them instead seen as though i went through 2 sets in about 8 month. then i got rid of that and got my prize possestion 155hgt

Sorry to bring this back up...

But I have found a cheapish source for a set of EBC pads for my HGT...

I can get Black, Green, Red & Yellow...

What would be the best for me to use???

I have plained vented discs, with no grooves or holes.

None of them

Unless you are really anal about brake dust on your wheels then use green stuff but if you want braking power use red dot or a.n.other make.

The red stuff pads are hotter than the green but they have a worse friction coeff so actually brake worse than green stuff.
