lol maybe im going crazy...

i have foglights on my car and they arent working.. h have used a multimeter and i have voltage leaving the relay but no voltage at the first connector fot the fogs...

so it has to be a fuse somewhere?

i thought so..

lets start from the start...

noticed fog lights were gone one day so i presumed it twas the relay as i couldnt find a fuse.. new relay from fiat still no lights.
look at the wires and noticed the positive was scorched where the connector block after the relay was. played around with this for a while and all of a sudden the fogs came on but i noticed the wires were hot. didnt want to put the wires back in hot so i stayed and wathced the connector block

the positive got so hot it melted the inside the connector completly and went on fire then the positive and the aux light wire shorted togeather and thats when i stoped everyhing in a panic and turned the power off...

put the wires in normal connector blocks after that expecting them to melt but they didnt the fog lights stayed on and i was over the moon... even did a little dance!!

now they have gone off... and im no longer dancing...

should i head to an auto electrician or is there a solution i can try and probablly fail at fisrt?

cheers boys

problem solved

faulty connector in engine bay

replaced with connector block

let there be light!
