Technical Front Disc Pads

Anyone know what brake pads these are, as I ordered a set for my car, and received the wrong parts, name of the brake, and/ or part numbers please.

it's from a 99 (Vreg) punto mk1 60s seletca.

looks like a GT3 caliper, looks like your car has had a brake upgrade at some point in its life... Are the discs vented as well?

No they are not vented

mmmm random... perhaps really late cars have slightly different caliper then, its not what i would expect on a mk1. They are not GT3 ones if the discs aren't vented.

You could try looking on the eper

After look at EBC website and downloading catalog
it is the ATE EBC DP1141

its not that weird really, i bet your calipers have just been changed at some point during the cars life, either just because something broke on one or someone has upgraded them, it would seem you have same brakes as a 16v sporting by that last image. Now you know its not a problem. I never knew they had different brakes until now.

Just take your pad(s) to a decent factor -- they'll have patterns in the parts book so they can match them. Some FIATs, incidentally, have GT3 look alike calipers which have shorter arms, use the same pads, but use non-vented disks. A sort of one stop only brake upgrade -- not for maximum attack on the Snake Pass!

Might work on a Cento as an upgrade, but.......

I remember Aaron suggesting that it might reduce unsprung weight -- he never tried it, though!

could in theory be a good upgrade for a road car that not intended to ever go on track then. I might buy some if they come up really cheap just for a play.

You cd prob get the actual caliper from a factor - or wd you need different carriers etc as well?

Well it would be a downgrade from my brakes lol, i'm merely surprised that in all the years i have been on here i have never seen someone stick a set on a cinq/sei is all.
