front de-badge?

I have a mk2 Bravo,Im Thinking of removing the front badge on the grill,If I remove it will I be left with holes or anything as I dont want to go to
the trouble of filling and spraying

I would imagine it is held on with some sort of a plastic lug ie there will be a hole/holes in the bonnet

There is a plastic 'joint' behind the badge joining the top and bottom of the grille..

It also holds a bolt, which is used to attach the grille to the bonnet.

The 'joint' is about the same size as the badge.

I know a few guys here have managed to remove it... but I just changed the mesh instead..

You have a few choices in doing this.

You can either remove the badge and mesh across it. This will hide what is under the badge but you will need to paint under the badge a dark colour to hide/blend through the mesh.

You can also fill the area to hide the holes left from the badge.

I do know that some times they have front grills on ebay. They have the badge missing and already filled so could be what you are looking for.
