Yeah get a renault laguna splitter, from one of the older models (97-98ish). Some come with vents some without.

This is Keith R's old car.

Font Bumper

My sx doesnt even have that standard bumper you have got. it is really thin even if i put the splitter on there it would look crap. Can i get one like urs and put in on mine. will it fit?

Its not my car, as i have the Abarth front bumper. Thats a HLX bumper. You can fit the splitter to your existing bumper no problem, the only difference between yours and the one above is the foglights, its still the same bumper.

But if you wanted to fit a HLX bumper and that splitter then thats fine and it'll fit fine. Just dont buy a HGT bumper as they wont fit right. Must be a HLX.

This is riches Bravo...

how do u fit the splitter? and is it a just a straight swap from a renault to a bravo bumper?

Is it a straight sway from the Hlx or is there alot of work involed to change it. like bending the metal or making anythig wider.

You can attach the splitter with self tappers or a staple gun.

The HLX bumper will fit a HLX, straight swap. A HGT bumper will fit but wont align with the wings properly as the wings are wider on the HGT but the HLX has the smaller wings like the SX and S.

The splitter is rubber, it can be bent to follow the shape of the bravo bumper. Its slightly too long for the Bravo so you cut a small piece out. Look closely at the pics. Hardly noticable.

so i will take my sx one off and put the hlx one on. i will hav to spray it

Yes unless you find same colour. But you dont need a HLX bumper to fit a laguna splitter, the SX one is ok.

it will fit your sx you dont have to fit a hlx one just to fit the splitter, or do you just not want the sx bumper and all?

if i take the sx bumpr off altogether and put the hlx one on its gonna look better isnt it? or will it look the same?

Imagine your SX bumper with foglights, thats all it is. You did say you wanted a cheap splitter mod. Here it is. Why pay more for a bumper. You'll then have the hassle of wiring up the foglights, getting a switch panel for your car etc. Lots of time and money if you ask me.

mate if you want a cheap splitter mod keep your sx bumper you havent got foglights to start off with so there will be empty holes unless you going to go and buy foglights, wiring, etc etc bit pointless if u ask me itll look good on the sx bumper

The splitter is usually cut in the middle to shorten it and then screwed or glued to the bottom of your existing bumper! The sx and hlx bumpers are the same except for foglights and headlight washers. If you put the Laguna splitter on to your existing bumper you can add foglights and the washers at a later date! The foglights can be put into your sx bumper.

All you need is foglights and inserts to hold the lights, these can be gotten from Fiat or a scrapyard. You can drop the bumper and on the rear of the bumper you will see circles marked out. You just need to be handy with a knife and cut the circles out, slide the inserts in and screw the lights into the inserts and replace the bumper! If your car is a Mk2 then the wiring will be there and you will be able to connect up the lights just needing a Mk2 switch for the dash. However if you have a Mk1 I don't think you will have the wiring so you will need wire them up yourself and install a switch!

is that all you need?

Heya, i have a mk2 1.6 sx, so all i need to add working foglights is the lights, holders and switch panel? the rest is there already? just plug and play type of thing? are there any of parts of the car that can be upgraded that easily?
