Technical Front Anti-Roll Bar

Technical Front Anti-Roll Bar

The smallest versions of the UNO have no Anti-Roll bar.
The thing is, the rest of the suspension is tuned to work without one.

So if your UNO has one, you can´t take it off.
If your UNO has none, you can´t put one on.

You can only change the whole unit.
But think about this fact. The UNO´s weight, differs over 100kg depending on the version and engine !!!
So the suspension it adapted to the over all weight.

So, LEAVE IT AS IT IS !

Thanks for the input guys.

So, LEAVE IT AS IT IS !

...Just to clarify, I'm not planning to keep the anti-roll bar removed.

I was replacing wishbones, and sheared the studs on one of the anti-roll bar end mounts (which was being replaced anyway), but then realised the new mounts didn't come with new nuts.

I asked because I was trying to make a decision about either leaving the car at my dad's, and pinching his car to get home, or driving the car home (10 miles) with no anti-roll bar fitted.

I went with plan B in the end, and drove it home. I can't say I have felt a difference in the ride, but then I don't think I really take corners quick enough to tell. BUT, the anti-roll bar will be re-fitted before I start using the car properly again.
