I've bought a Cupra R front splitter off a Leon from Partsworld. Yet to fit it, hoping to do it this weekend. Will get some pics up with it attached, for now, here it is by itself

Gonna require quite a bit more of work than I thought, but will be worth it.

I know ColinF1 has a front splitter, as does Brin. Check out their Members motors threads

Now that will look pretty smart when you've it on...(y)

Id recommend taking the bumper off, will save you alot of hassle trying to do it on the ground with front jacked up.

With the bumper off you wil be able to line it up 100%, and then you can attach it really well so there is no gaps between the screw/rivets your gonna use.

Pictures when you've attached it!

Think is, as it stands, I've got a Mia, and still have the matt black bumper on the front, and colour coded on the back. I've got a CC'd front bumper in my back garden, so going to attach the splitter before i attach the bumper (like you just suggested). Can't wait to get it fitted! :D

OP, as for the rear bumper, looking at the extension, as ColinF1 said, the back bumper ain't really the right shape. Considered the Abarth back bumper?

did consider the abarth rear bumper but i like the bumpers on it and really just want a subtle extention, maybe remove the rear badges and then look more towards tuning

I remember talking about this in here, so instead of making a new thread, I thought I'd bump this one with pics of my Cupra R Splitter fitted.

I'm not going to lie, it was a bit of a bastard to fit! Loads of modding had to be done, and still doesn't fit that well. But I just can't work out a way to pull the splitter closer into the bumper.

It looks fine from the front, so as long as your not really close and looking top down, its fine.

Pics attached. Opinions would be great! :D

Black silicone and gun it in (carefully).

Dont bother with one on the back it just makes more drag as air comes out from under the car. Its not low enough or smooth enough underneath for any ground effect.

That is a good idea mate!

This thread wasn't started by me mate! :p I don't want to do anything to the rear
