free mp3 to mp4 converter

I'm looking for a free mp3 to mp4 converter so i can put stuff on my ipod, does any one know of one that is completely free?

MP4 is not what you want to put music on your iPod. MP4 is a video format file iirc.

Use iTunes. It's easy and simple to do

get 'free studio manager' does tons of stuff (music/phones/Ipod/video/you tube vids' etc all for free with no ads

Does this allow video editing? Can't find much info. on what it actually does from a quick search. Or does anyone else know of a freeware program I can download to edit my phone videos? Just need something to crop off the bits I don't need in each video (MP4 format) and then re-save the files.

Most videos downloaded are in mp3 format the ipod touch does not support this so they have to converted to mp4

I can assure you 100% all iPods play MP3s

It's possible videos are incorrectly named - a proper MP3 is just sound.

Most videos downloaded are in mp3 format the ipod touch does not support this so they have to converted to mp4

Can't be. MP3 is sound. It's like saying you can play a Jpeg (Image file) as a song

I may have got mixed up a little but im 100% certain you cant put videos onto the ipod unless they are converted into mp4. It says so in the manual

yes but MP3 is an audio format!!!
