Credits not a bad thing, but not being able to afford it is, I could be wrong, but this day and age a good porportion of people run it so close to the wind that the slightest thing can knock it all out of balance and cause big issues.

unless you have money to burn, or are really incapable of doing/learning DIY mechanic tasks, i cant see the point of buying new cars AT ALL!

I'd much rather reserve 30k for the rest of my life to buy, between 30 and 60, solid up to 10 year old punto mk2/2b's, or equivalent, than buy one new £30k car

it worked well in soviet russia for most people to have a lada.

if all cars were equal size/weight, all crashes would be equal.

whats wrong with a punto mk2/2b.......a 5 door small family car would maybe be the best all rounder in the one car system....

I simply don't want a Punto, my 500 is more reliable, better looking, more economical and with it being owned by myself from new, should be more reliable in the long run.

I've always driven what I wanted. My last car had a big powerful engine, this ones got a dinky one, the next one, who knows but one thing is certain, it'll be my choice, not some generic euro clone.
