General found some gt alloys

i went to the local scrap today and found a set of gt alloys
now there is one of the wheels that has like a big scuff mark on it and seems like its got a bump in it about 2 to 3 cm long it aint massive tho. other person probaly hit a curb or something ... but whill this affect the cars driving ? and if so can it be fixed

you can get it repaired at a repair centre, how much are they and what tyres do they have and what mm do they have? im just checking your not paying too much for them.

cause you will pay to much and beau will go get them instead lol

the kerb mark wont affect the car unless the wheel is buckled/bent. so give it a check that is inst buckled.

are they the anthracite ones or silver ones?

lol, i already have a set, im just making his not paying over the odds, i got a set for £80 with 2 excellent make tyres which were new and 2 worn out and the alloys were nearly perfect, just had 1 scratch- and they were delivered so really they must of cost about £50? if i was to collect that is.

actually when i say £80, that wasnt just for the alloys that was for sporting side skirts, a selection of bolts and locking wheel nuts and loads of abarth badges and punto sporting ones too.

so make sure your not paying more than about £50ish if they have good tyres, if worn etc and the alloys need repairing then only go up to £30, depending on damage!- dont go paying loads, just not worth it

yes they are very rare over here this is the first gt ive seen over here
he is asking 115 Euro for them the tyres are almost new didnt measurre mm but sure looked good to me goin to knock down the price as im thinking of buying the aftermarket exhaust of it too maybe

its the silver ones with red abarth badges

the one wheel has got a slight bump only on the side where someone had drove along a curb

yes thats a good price, but as you said try to knock them down a bit on the damage, good luck remember to take the bolts too

got the wheels today sadly they didnt have the bolts there couldnt find them a bit disapointing and also bought the gt sideskirts only for 10 E but one of them needs fixing

couldnt knock the price off was his best price so:yuck: got the wheels for 115 euro 3 of them are in good state 1 is a bit scuffed but hey:slayer: got some anyway ive just put 2 on

went back and found almost all bolts (xcept 3 )in the gt they came off

now i am going to fix the sideskirt and then ill put them on they only cost me 10 euro:yum:

now the wheels are on ive got some odd troubles whenever braking or changing gears the car pulls to the right

now i went to the kwik fit to get the wheels balanced put the guy told me it has to do with the tyres cuz they are second hand.. he said you need to change the tyres and get them properly lined

i found this a bit odd dont know if its true or not can anyone help me with this :idea:

i would get tracking and balancing done and if it still does it i dont have a clue

but the tyres? as long as there both the same type of tyre shouldnt be that, the person probably told you that to get you to buy new tyres to get there sale numbers up

ok thats what i thought in the front are same type they are firestone but in the back is 2 different ones but profille seems the same

so you would defenitely recomend trackin and balancing? i was thinking just balance them and maybe then tracking. but there used to be steelies on the punto
