how u work that out u seen it?
certain 1.2 coems in 80 and 103

First of all, the 1.2 is only 82bhp, there is no 103bhp model, unless someone has tinkered with it.

As for tips, well, check the obvious stuff, then check the stuff that Bravo's are known for such as rear wiper, slow electric windows, ALL electrics, etc, etc. Also check things like service record, cambelt change history, etc.

Once you have a list of things that may require attention, you then have some ammunition to haggle with. Take the figure you can afford, and shave a few hundred off and offer that. It's just a case of haggling. Use any faults to bolster your case.

For example, when I bought my Marea, the rear wiper was dead, there were a few dents and a bit of iffy paintwork so I used them to haggle with. I also took control of the bartering. I didn't ask him how much he'd take, I just told him I wanted the car but had my limits, then made my offer of my Sei in p/x, some cash and asked him to pay the tax. He sucked his breath over his teeth and said he couldn't do that, so I said car & cash and I would take care of the tax and he agreed.

The key is to not be weak and be prepared to walk, even if you really like the car. Just don't make a stupidly low offer or a stupidly high one.

Remember, it's your hard earned cash and you have the choice where to spend it.
