Technical Foot brake switch access

[500 Cult Classic]

Our Fiat 500 keeps displaying ' no ESC, no stop start, no abs. This only happens when the foot brake is applied but not all the time. On-line experts reckon its the switch located behind the foot brake pedal. Does anyone have any ideas how to get to this switch to replace it. I am fairly flexible but you need to be extremely double jointed to get your body anywhere near able to get under the dash to reach behind the pedal????
