Dear all,
This morning, the Barchetta was picked up by its new owner. After a head rebuild and much tinkering to get it running, the chap who now owns her is talking of resprays etc to get her back to stunning condition. Obviously I told him about this forum and I am sure he will be checking in shortly.
As for me and the future, first thing is my wife who is 5 months pregnant, she is a little shaken after some prat smashed into the back of her yesterday and ruined her new (2 weeks old, 800miles) car. Thus she gets spoilt rotten with some of the money from the car. After that it is bambino briggs in October and then maybe look to start stripping the MG - it is due a total rub down, some small patches of rust treating and a new coat of fresh tartan red paint.
I will call in from time to time to see if I can add anything to the forum but just wanted to thank you all for helping me get the car running and I wish you and your "B"'s all the best for the future.
Regards
Chris
