is there anyway i can get a key wiv the button on to set alarm and lock the doors. I got the brown key but the 1 i use is just a normal copied key.it a hgt r reg.

I have several Genuine uncut blue fiat keys with the remote buttons on them.

But you will need to either get the 4 digit alarm codes from Fiat or from Tony at datarecall. Then you just program the new keys in with a tooth pick via the roof ceiling light, use the red key to program the key into your immobiliser and get the key cut.

nice 1 thanx. So if i brought a key off you then would i stil need to get that code off datacall or just use the code i get wiv the key to program the alarm?and also wil it defo work?

No, you will still need to open (not physically) the alarm ECU using one of the existing 4 digit alarm codes from the original blue keys that came with the car to add new alarm keys. Datarecall will help with that.

Any 4 digit key code saved in the alarms ECU memory will open the alarm ECU to add more remotes/keys.

does any1 know of any local places (in brum/west mids area) that does what tony does at datarecall.??? as tony lives in bucks and bit too far 4 me to travel just to unlock the code for the alarm. any help wil be most grateful. thanks

Send him the key, thats what I did.

i cant cuz he needs to plug a machine in to the cars ecu to get the alarm code so i can program another key in..thanx tho.

He can get the code just from the original blue key. But if you don't have that send him the ceiling roof light. As the alarm receiver is in there. Are you sure he's not offered you other alternatives?

nah he just said he needs to plug it in to get a code. I have emailed him and waitin for reply! It would be easier to just send the light thing if its just that.also i have pressed the lil button in there and the led light doesnt flash does this mean the alarm is disconnected?

You may have a faulty receiver if the light doesn't light up.

A new virgin ceiling light from Fiat will come open so new keys can be added without a code. All you do is push the button on the roof light in and then the button on the new key.
