My key fob works on everything except the passenger door which it suddenly won't unlock.

i changed the fuse for the passenger door and fob still won't unlock it. I can manually unlock the passenger door from inside.

Fob locks both doors. just won't unlock the passenger door😏

Car is a 2013 fiat 500 sport turbo

The passenger door opens manually from the inside and from the outside and I can lock the door from the inside. Its only with the fob the passenger door won't unlock.:(

your youroperationg the lock manually - if(assuming) the pull rod has become disconnected from the actuator then the fob operates it as normal but there is NO PHYSICAL CONNECTION thus it doesn't work!this is the most likely scenario!. best pull the door card of and lock inside and watch whats happening if all the rods and clips are in place and there is nothing broken then it may be the actuator has failed in some mode! plenty of used spares on e- bay!.

I found the solution I wasn't using the fob correctly! A mechanic explained click the unlock twice for both doors & hatch to unlock. Click once for only the driver's door to unlock. Click lock button once for both doors and hatch to lock.

Ok, so where is the above explained in the manual😁

sounds overly complex to me! in the uk press unlock once -all unlocks, press lock once -all locks+ boot on a seperate button! why yours is so long winded god knows.
True! And I forgot, clicking the hatch button on the fob opens the hatch only. Talk about sophistication😉

I wonder if it's got deadlocks ?

I remember my last car had deadlocks , you had to quickly double press to deadlock, but just one press resulted in just simple locking.

I've never heard of a car where you had to double press to unlock the doors

I dont know but I love that my car automatically locks the doors shortly after beginning driving. I haven't seen that feature in other cars, not even a Fiat spider I had years ago.

you can turn that and many other features on and off in the speedo menu!.
I like that you can unlock, and lock, both doors from inside the car just by pulling, or pushing, one of the door handles. The wife's Mazda doesn't have the autolock feature and has very awkward to use little lock buttons. The FIAT arrangement is simple and intuitive. 🙃
