flush boot

im planning sometime to flush out the boot lock bit and was wondering if anyone could give me any advice or info on it or show me what the locks look like once i get the plastic bit off

Once you've taken off the lock and handle there will be large hole in your boot.

A metal plate will need welding in.
Once the plate had been welded in place cover with fibreglass then sand down.

Then a few layers of filler and sand down again.
Then prime
and finaly paint!

cheers what is the fibre glass for?? and where do u get it and where can u get filler do u know?

filler is not very good for deepish holes. You get the filler (AKA plastic paddin) and the fiberglass from any pretty any motorspares car shop.

hey cheers im an apprentice welder so i will be able to weld the plate myself so it would just be the fibre glass and filler that are the hard bits do u know if its hard to get the plastic and lock off?
