Grande Punto Flickering brake lights

Hi guys - does anyone know why my brake lights might be flickering while I am accelerating? Will prob have to take to garage but thought I would check to see if there is anything I can do myself! Any info much appreciated

check the switch is seated correctly on brake pedal,sometimes they may work loose and plunger maybe at max causing lights to come on at rear.
