Just returned from 12 day holiday and when got to car in car park wouldnt start. battery completely flat got jump start and ok but engine warning light now on. Do i just need to get it reset and is this normal car is only just three years old. 5 days of warranty left!

New battery might clear the fault - ****note**** might clear the fault.

Odd though - never happened to me in any car I've owned but as I recall I'm sure others have suffered this with Stilos. Reminds me, I could do with changing my battery - it is the original one the car came with from new......

seems to be ok now and engine fault cleared. Anyone know what type of screwdriver is used for taking off engine cover and where to get one?

just come back from 12 days away myself and jtd 1.9 m/w fired to life ok ,though I did have one of those £10 solar trickle charge things plugged in as I do not do that many miles at the moment and tend to keep it connected when not using the car for a few days as they do not put out a high amp current.

We use one of these Solar things on the Panda thats SORN and its great at keeping the battery in a healthy state(y)
