I’ve been chasing some problems around in my partners 500L and the more I read the more it looks like we have quite a few of the issues related to the blue and me module based on what I’ve found, but everything related to the Fiat 500 not the 500L

Am I right in thinking that the 500L has a blue and me module too?

Where is this module located on a RHD 500L?
I want to test connections etc, before sending it off for testing and refurb if this is the case.

500L Twinair

Hello,

As far as I can see, there's no separate bluetooth module in the 500L. Check the attached doc.

The best solution to start diagnosing would be to connect the car to MES or AlfaOBD to check what kind of errors it shows.

If you connect it, before trying a proxi alignment, make a backup of the current configuration, even if with some errors.

Is there anyone around the North Wiltshire and just beyond area who could assist us with that?
If you click the MES link in this post (or my previous one), you'll get to the forum members register willing to help. Might be a good idea to contact those ones in the neighbourhood directly.

We’ve eventually sorted out most of our problems with our twinair by replacing a new exhaust, engine runs far better than it ever has, the clues were in the advisories on old MOT’s, fixed all manner of engine codes and lumpy running, exhaust was in far worse state than the advisories suggested when a mechanic had it on the ramp. We also had a good deal on a standard fit stereo from eBay which resolved most of the electrical issues, just need to do a proxy alignment now somewhere to get rid of the flashing odometer.
