flashing glow plug icon

Punto gtd 2002. The car starts fine however a couple of seconds later the glow plug icon starts to flash for about 30 seconds and the goes off. there does not seem to be any other symtoms that i'm aware off. Any ideas. thanks

hi! welcome to the forum
one of the glo plugs have probably stopped working it won't affect the running of the car as they're only needed on cold starts, so you won't notice anything untill the winter
