We have a 2004 1.2 8v which is fantastically indestructible. However recently the dash display started flashing for no reason. We have put a new battery on thinking this could be the problem although no issues starting it. We have checked the alternator and its charging fine.
Occasionally we will drive 20 or so miles and it will stop, all is fine with the world until we need to start it again and it flashes again.
The mileage continues to go up on it even though flashing and apart from it being worrying its annoying.
Any thoughts and ideas gratefully received.
