General Flashing clock display/ Marea

Hi all, This is my first posting so I hope someone out there can help with my small but very annoying problem. I have just purchased the Marea Weekend sx75td W reg, unfortunately none of the handbooks survived the previous owners. My problem is this, the clock display continually flashes and displays the wrong time. Try as I might I cannot reset it or stop the annoying flashing, so I guess it's over to you.
