Technical Fitting this from Lancia Thema on my Uno?

Hi,
Unfortunately I don't know what this thingy is in English , but you guys will probably tell me soon.

Is it worth switching this? I know it fits, but what do I get out of it? As you see I'm not really well educated in these things!

I've been told that it could be useful somehow?

changing the airbox over? dont see how it would give you massive gains unless the thema is less restrictive or the sensor possibly gave a slightly different reading to the ECU?
sure some of the uno boys will know.

No idea. It looks like part of the induction/ injection system, but that's a wild guess.

What kind of Uno are you hoping to put it on?

thats a Air Flow Meter (AFM) off a Mk2 Uno Turbo and off a Lancia Thema. cant really see much from the photos but if i were you i wouldnt put it on. for one i don't think it'll make any difference and two, i don't think it'll work properly and it will probably mess up your fueling etc.

That's used by some people that hack the stock ecu to use larger injectors without remaps, in other words it's a botch at best. i found a page last night explaining it but i forgot to save the url .

You have to tension the spring on the bigger afm..
no advantage without bigger injectors.
