Fitting Front Speakers

I have just got some Sony Xplod xs-a1027 front speakers for my Sei.

They fit fine however when i took the originals out they had the yellow connector thing o them. The female on the original speakers and the male on the wiring.

How am i going to connect the new speakers to the male block, do i need to get a new female piece? Where would i get one from?

cut the yellow connector off and get some spade female connectors from halfords or somewhere similier and crimp them on

you can get a mixed box of them for around £2

Dont know if you can be bothered but its a good idea to replace the wiring for some oxygen free copper stuff while youve got them out or you'll probably never get round to it. It makes a huge difference mate.

I had the same problem. you don't have to cut off the yellow connectors (if they are like mine) inside they already have the spade connectors all You need to do is "push" them out... give it a try
