Ive fitted the induction kit, similar to the punto guide, there are however two vacuum pipes from under the original air box and not sure what to do with them.

I'm assuming its ok to remove the old flexi pipes as dont appear to be needed with the original air box gone.

They do need some modding these kits though, as need to get a section of piping to connect the old breather pipe.

sorry yeah forgot to clarify its a sei

ive removed the old vac pipes to the airbox but jhave told they need to be plugged at the throttle body can anyone help?

cheers will plug it,

does anyone know what size tubing need to bridge the pipes here.. lined them up so can see where mean.. read on here someone used copper tubing

i'm assuming he means he got one like my old one, i have a GSR on that car now though.

as a side point, with a 1242 this kit fouls the bonnet, i had to try cut a slice off the bottom of the big right angle silicone bit on top of throttle body which ended in a leaky seal and lumpy running and shortly after fubar'd spark plugs, hence the GSR. You can kinda see in that pic where th top has flattened off where the bonnet has been pushing down on it. This shouldn't be a problem at all on the 1108 though..
