Ah Right. Why does the ebay seller say that the aux lead can't be fitted if you have blue and me?

I thought the blue and me uses the same connections as the aux in connections on the back of the head unit. Could be wrong though...

Probably because Blue and Me controls the head unit through the same port an Aux lead would. The Blue and Me system is however a different ECU 'unit' if you want, in which the USB is connected to the Blue and Me ECU, and not the cars head unit CD player

So you can fit an aux lead to a car with blue and me if you want, but you'll loose blue and me Audio

duckers87.. you WILL however lose phone audio if you disconnect B&M's connection from the head unit.. you'll be able to use the controls to actually make a call.. but the phone will send the audio to B&M.. which will forward it to the head unit, which now wont work as it will not have the audio connected.. so effectively no you cant.

I'm now thinking of trying the mono telephone input pins to get an aux connection (on the B&M headunit).. but i dont see how they are triggered.. as far as I can tell the pins for tel in and tel ground are present, but there doesnt seem to be a trigger pin..

How is the telephone input triggered?

Hi guys, can anyone tell me how to get the release pins out of the stereo. I've released the stereo no problem, but I'm frightened that pulling the pins out May break something?? As they seem in pretty tightly?

Hi, im new here and was looking at the guide for fitting an Aux cable.
Found the keys on ebay easily enough and found a cable with the blue and green plug on the end (id post a link to it on ebay but the forum wont let me )


My question is do i need to get the other cable the guy who posted that pic guide had or will the single cable work fine as it is when connected to the back of the HU?

The phone input is triggered by connecting two leads in the back of the stereo.
Strangely enough, they're not in the blu&me connection, they're simply unused.
