Fitted A New Ariel Yesterday And What A Pain. Bought A New One From Halfords For Twelve Quid, What You Do Is Unclip Two Plastic Covers On The Light Consol Above The Gear Stick, Once All That Has Come Off Take Off The Strip Which Wraps Around The Sunroof, The Next Two Things To Come Off Is The Sun Vizers Which Will Drop The Roof Lining. Please Note Cant Help If You Have A Multipla Which Dose Not Have A Sun Roof. After A Few Cups Of Tea And Cursed A Bit You Will See What Looks Like A Small Triangle Shaped Piece Unscrew It And Your Old Ariel Will Come Off. Now For The Tricky Bit The Ariel I Bought Did Not Fit Through The Hole In Triangle Piece So You Have To Make A Little Bit Bigger Then Just Screw Your New Ariel To It. Once You Have Screwed It In Place I Would Advise You Test Your Ariel Before You Put Your Multpla Back Together. Hope This Helps

yeah had fun also refitted the water pipe for the rear wiper came off, do you know anywhere i can get a cheap rear wiper from i believe fiat are dear cheers wes

As the Multipla rear wiper comes complete with the arm from Fiat, I got a cheap wiper (IIRC 14") and just used the insert.

My local Fiat dealership (County Motors, Carlisle) also have a factors on site that doubles as their parts dept. The replacement wiper from them was £2.20 as opposed to around £11 for the original.

I fitted a new ariel today after someone ripped mine off.
To save taking the old base off and messing with the roof lining I just bought a replacment from Maplin for £4.99. See below

I bought the universal short rod ariel and put the flexible black ariel end under the footwell of the middle seat. With the remaining wire I just tied it up and hid it as best I could under the dash.

I fitted a cheapo halfrauds ariel on mine but cheated, i fitted the top mast and cut the wire inside the car and cut the original soldered and heatshrinked it and all is good .
