Hi To the all knowing collective,
So after getting the registraton paperwork done and some insurance ,out I went for my first drive in "Fiona" ,bearing in mind the outside temp here in Spain was 35° she drove well but I did notice a few things that maybe somebody could enlighten me with their knowledge.
1st The accelerator was sticking ,this i traced to the butterfly valve that had some black stuff on it (almost like paint) I replaced it and the bar with another one but could this be something to do with fuel as it wasn't like this before?
2nd At about 70 kph there is a noticable whinning/moaning from the rear ,gearbox I presume. Is this normal.
3rd when reversing out of the garage the engine/gearbox judder violently..all rubbers and mountings are new..( when rebuilding the engine I had the sump off and it turned up ended some oil dripped out onto the clutch,I cleaned it up as best i could but could this cause the juddering)
