Just purchased a Fiat Ducato campervan and was having issues with ignition switch that had to be replaced. Fiat dealer replaced the part but due to difficulties in reading the chip in the new fob they switched the chip and got it working. Now my problem started when I had locked the van overnight and next morning the van would not start . I then came across this forum and saw issues with faulty remotes and was fixed by reset of system disconnect negative terminal .so I disconnected and all sorted van is back to normal . Save me a heap of money and time thanks to this forum!!!
