My 1.4 Turbo petrol is 3years old end of the month so it’s going in for its first MOT at 18500 miles. Not expecting any issues. I normally
change cars before 3 years old but I really like this Tipo.

my 1,4 turbo petrol was 2 years old when the rear shocks had to be changed, i now have a 1.6 diesel so far so good my mot due 15 mar

Update….passed MOT…..no issues. He commented that it was like new and it looked a nice car and drove well. Think I’ll keep it a bit longer 😄👍

It's only 3 years old, no car should have any issues on the first few MOTs, wait until it's 10+ years

You say that but I had a 500x which failed it’s first Mot from new with a split track rod end. I had to argue that it was covered under warranty. They eventually agreed.

Nice to hear from someone who's having a good experience with this car - not that I'm hearing much bad about them - because the estate version is a front runner to replace my younger boy's 2007 Astra estate when it finally dies. The Astra is in for it's MOT today and so far he hasn't rung me asking to pay for any of it so my hopes are high that either it's passed or has only failed on something quite minor!

Oops, both N/S road springs broken and an advisory on the O/S/R spring for excess corrosion - probably do it next year if the car lasts that long.
