Just change the bushings, lube it well, and adjust the nylock very carefully.
This cured the difficult shifting on my Pick-Up.
By watching the picture of the gear shifting of your Pick Up, I noticed it is somewhat different from mine, yours is of course 1996, and mine is 1993 model, I see another bushing that may be the reason, but first mount the ones I described and let's see what happens.
The engine/ gearbox mounts are supposed to be very soft on these engines, because of the heavy vibrations....!!
