Hey there's nothing wrong with Cable tied wheel trims.
They look decent for wheel trims.

Not at all, just has they in silver ones they'd have merged into the colour of the trims.

I was amazed on Friday, came out the door at work an there was a Yaris with those black bay trims on. Didn't have my phone wi me or ad have had a picture of it, they still didn't look all that bad

I'm not sure Peterhead does silver-coloured cable ties  More to the point it was cold and I just wanted out of there

the child labour would hate it if I fitted those  Mind you the car's not getting washed again til Springtime so it won't matter...

The "industrial" look appears to be the in thing at the moment. Since getting the wheels changed I have seen several v. nice cars with tatty looking wheels and no wheel trims. I guess we're all expecting another bad winter up here :(

I'm almost looking forward to snow now just to get my moneys worth so chances are we won't see any this year. Ah well, I'll consider insurance instead

Sorry Andi, I have no control over the weather. Although I do predict Ayrshire this winter will probably be wet, with some very cold spells, possible snow, lots of wind and the very occasional glimpse of sun

hth
