well i am overwhelmed of my accomplishment,.. dare to burst my bubble...

Cheers for now...

hi guys just a quick update,

car is running fine without any out of the ordinary problems, but! the mec, friend of mine and I did not put any sealant on the tappet cover, I thought car was leaking at the sumb. Oil was everywhere at the pullies and under manifold as it ran down.
So i put sealant on and problem went away. Still have to double check because he was really in a hurry to put the engine back for any leakages.

Wanted to do body work and respray but unfortunately I cant do it this weekend. any advise to remove rust from body, around windscreen and to effectively correct (round off) the wheel arches ? then its tinting the windows later. ( Limo black ). Tail lights to be smoked also and headlights just a little darkened and to finish it off with clear coat for n nice shiny look.

Chao

plz guys any help as i have no idea

Sumb was leaking and just added sealent to the oil carrier.

Just for interest sake i want to take her to dino to see if my engine is a happy chappy...
(she feels great performance wise)

Cheerio,

guy at dyno says my car needs atleast 5k km on since engine overhaul. wanted to test CO2 and compression. none the less back to other matters at hand.

dam oil leak is there again, well i spoke to an old mec yesterday. He claims the crank shaft seals these days are crap(pirate makes, cant find original seals nearby), in previous experiences he has removed a spring inside the seal (i have no idea) and he would cut it short or fiddle with it and afterwards refit it. he claims it has worked a lot of times.
anyone knows of such mockery? gona see over the weekend if his word has ground.

rawill, that is also something i should replace that has been leaking for a while. do you know of a guide for it? to remove the driveshaft left and right?
