Hopefully this is an easily solved issue but I have to fight to put my indicators on if the wheel is in remotely the opposite direction. Now, obviously this shouldn't normally be an issue on most roads but a lot of junctions I take kind of flick in the opposite direction before exiting.

For example, if I want to take a right when I leave the car-park I have to turn to the left to get to the junction before I can go right. Now, if I've had time to straighten up its not a problem but generally due to the sharpness of most the junctions and depending on whether its clear to go I dont often have time to straighten up properly. If I try to indicate at this point to go right, the lever refuses to lift unless I force it roughly into place.

Does anyone else had this problem and if so is it an easily fixed one?

Yeah, hold it until it clicks, this stops it auto self-cancelling so you'll need to flick it back to rest once you've made your turn. Does it in my Sei, did it in my ex's Mk2 and also in my friend's Mk1 Puntos. Think the 126 does it too but not driven it for 6 months so can't say for sure.

Yeah my mk2b did the same thing, so does my old man's Stilo!

Think we need to protest against their **** poor indicator design :D

Maybe we should do that for everything from now on? seems to have worked well for the couple behind the RATM!

If you force them on, it feels like your breaking them, but ive yet to do so :D

Yeah, thats the horrible part - it actually feels like its about to snap sometimes which is never a good thing. :(

Ah well, at least I now know its not just my car being annoying. Shame theres no quick fix for it though!
