JTD's will have a good day. Cause they are torque'y. On a fiat coupe track day the seat ibiza diesel was keeping pace!!!

I weigh less than 10 :p

Engine cover? Screen wash? Diesel? Neons?

The sedici rivals the JTD even in the torque.. A bit of both on the day maybe.

I'll keep the passenger seat in for entertainment value - will fit a rear-view camera in the passenger deashboard.

Edit: 9st 7lb :p

Being honest if you're not comfortable in the situation you put your self and other people at risk and you're better off not not hitting the track. I don't speak for anyone here bar my self but I wouldn't have a problem with you working your way into fast track driving & I doubt anyone else here would either.

If you drive slowly, then people will just go past you. No need to worry about going fast straight out the box. Thats what track days are all about. Learning how to drive your car better.

It's a shame Fiat didn't make a lightweight racing series car. Would have been so much cooler in a Fiat powered car than a ford powered one :(

what i mean is, i dont have to whizz round on say my first lap but do a couple at like 70/80ish then get faster like that kinda thing

that's what I mean just ease into your driving... start off at a pace you can deal with the push a little more each time through. I wish I had a video of me on my first 'track day' & 18 months latter at the same place, first time I was so slow and timid but there were people there telling me how to move the car etc. Next time I visited I was one of the fastest guys in an N/A sub-1500cc car and using a touch of trail braking to induce a bit of oversteer.

yeah start at easyish pace then get quicker and if i feel uncomfortable just exit at pit lane next time round. i can imagine on the day it probably wont happen though lol.

or ill get a passenger ride with something turbo and get scared poo-less and never go near a car again  lol

lol scared poo-less... try jumping into the passenger seat of a >500bhp Ultima Can-Am on slicks with a guy that's done about 10 laps already! My first introduction to track driving.
