What the hell is that "D1 spec catch can" doing there? It looks like you have fitted it to the cold start hose.

Sorry ive taken so long to reply. I keep having mixed thoughts about this uno and somedays i want it gone and some days i love it. At the moment i love it so for now im keeping it. Hahaha really? that could explain y it didnt catch a single drop of oil maybe. I borrowed it off a friend to see if it would catch a lot of oil and if so id buy my own. How are they meant to be hooked up?

I am definately going to upgrade the turbo now as i want more top end power. Can u help with what turbo and what work needs to be done to get it on?

And for you information i DID take it to Meremere and had 2 runs and both were **** coz fuel pump stuffed itself. still ran a 15.3 and started missing at end of 3rd gear. my 1000ft speed was higher than my final speed just to give u an idea of how bad the missfire was. Any way found me a nice blue bosch external replacement on a jaguar in pick-a-part car yard so running mint once again. :)
 
And ill also be down to meremere once again hopefully at the next nsdw with some more upgrades and ill try to get videos/

Hi there

No offence but if you cannot fit a catch tank in the right place i wouldn't change the turbo.....
 
I have fitted catch cans before on other engines and the Uno's engine is quite different from other cars ive owned. I simply connected the can to the vacuum lines to the intake which bypass the air filter which is normally correct if taken from the crankcase. Ive also fitted a td05 on my friends mitsi and it works good just for your information haha. Im not saying that i did fit the catch can right but im not completely retarted when it comes to engines.
