10 cm front and rear if memory serves. Should be able to unscrew old one connect new one, although I seem to remember the passenger side dash speaker is a **** due to the fuse box.

4"up front in the dash and I'm almost inclined to say 6x4" in the back, although I may be getting confused with the Tipo rear speakers. I do know that rear speakers werent standard on most Unos though. Not sure any of mine ever had them as standard.

The fronts (if your blown ones are the originals) will need adaptors to allow aftermarket speakers to be mounted in the original place. The standard speakers are moulded into a plastic casing which attaches to the dash.

Rears may well be the same.

In all honesty, as much as it is frowned upon by many in the car scene, a pair of 6x9s will be the best bet. For a start, finding the adaptors for the front of an Uno these days is probably going to be tricky. 4" speakers are pretty useless. Great for treble and maybe a bit of mid range but useless for just about anything else. A paid of 6x9s in the rear shelf will give you decent sound and be cheap to install.

Yeah i had a bit of a fiddle with the front passenger today, no idea how i'm gonna get it out! cheers for the replies though (y)

Going back to when I did mine (2003) its possible to separate the original speakers from the mouldings and re use the mouldings at the front, the rear had a mounting for a 10 on either side of the shelf but you had to chase your own cable

Ok, another question, my stereo only has a 45w max output, does this mean i can only get 45w or less speakers?

No, you should be looking at 100-120w speakers with nice chunky magnets.

You can get converter spacers that allow you to fit 13cm speakers up front instead of 10cm, which does make it a bit more fiddly, but it helps the bass, although they dont have an enclosure, which limits the performance.

You can undo the bolts at either end of the dash (at the bottom by the speakers) which allows you to flex it a little which helps a bit, & the fuse box comes off with 2 10mm bolts if needed.
