Hi,
I've had an intermittent fault code P0130 popping up which throws up the engine light. Has anyone experienced this on the 1.6 Diesel Multijet?

Any ideas, is this normally a sensor or the wiring?

Regards,

Howie

It’s a generic oxygen sensor code that applies to any car.

Basically means the oxygen sensor is not getting a consistent reading which is either the oxygen sensor or exhaust leak.

Hi. I have the same fault code. Just replaced the sensor, the check engine light still pops up. 1,6 multijet. Any advise would be appriciated

The car has 2 O2 sensors. First of all, make sure you replaced the faulty one.

Furthermore, I have to add that I have heard that it is best practice to change both O2 sensors at once, even if only one is giving an error code. I have heard that the difference in readings between the aged and new sensor can be a cause for an error code to appear.
