Totally Cool for just having those Recaro front seats with a cut out for 3 point harnesses. The best front seats I ever sat in. Don't start me on the steering wheel !

I used to like the nonconformity of the Strada in general (round headlights, square fogs etc) but the Abarth was the only car I remember keeping up with my brother's Audi Quatro on the road when I was little.

Sub Zero.
The engine; the seats; the steering wheel; the noise ....oooh the noise. Once, many moons ago I was fortunate to have in my circle of friends a Mk 1 105TC owner, a Mk 2 105TC (or was it 100TC in the Mk2?) and an 130TC Abarth owner, such happy days.
Showing my advancing years here.
I loved the Strada to so much, I bought the Transport Source Books edition with selected magazine reviews in - I think they are long gone as well.

Had a Superstrada 85. All I could afford but always wanted an arbarth. Electrics shocking (pun intended), garage time > running time, mine had Weber twin choke carb. Always going to drive carefully, primary only, when leaving after fuel fill up. By time I was in 2nd gear, sod it. What did they say, best fun you could ha e whilst keeping your clothes on...

Was the strada ES energy saver the first car to be fitted with start stop and if my memory serves me correctly fiat could never get this to work back in 1985 and the idea was droped , but step forward 30 odd years and most cars are now fitted with start/stop.

Subzero for me but prefer the earlier wheels - as fitted to the uber cool Ritmo 125tc

Amazing car the strada I had one for a couple of weeks, remember the TV advertising in the late 70s ,the first fiat to be hand built by robots,I think this is the car Fiat would rather forget though ,I remember seeing a blue 65cl in a scrap yard, and it was completely rotten at only 6 years old .
