I have a problem with my fiat Siena 1.6 , it will not start when hot. After a while it cools down and then starts. My wife was advised it was the ECU as it would not start at the garage and a person helped her by cooling the ecu with a wet rag. I have noticed the ecu does get hot as it is in direct line of fan in engine bay. Does anyone else have any ideas what could be causing the problem or if the ECU diagnosis could be correct?
forgot to mention engine will not even turn over light on dash on but starter does not swing. Once it swings it starts and runs well.
