Firstly i know everyones going to tell me its the inertia (cut out) switch but ive already checked that and its as it should be.

My mrs bumped her Fiat Seicento earlier, only slightly into a wall when parking cracked offside front bumper slightly. The main issue is the car cut out and now wont start. I was adamant it would be the cut out switch but on getting to the car this hadnt even been activated. But the car still will not start. It turns over but just does not fire up!

Any ideas ?

There's a safety cutout switch that has operated. It cuts the fuel pump in a bump to prevent fires.

I think in the Sei it is by the clutch pedal. Grovel in the footwell, left of the clutch pedal, behind the centre console. You should find a button on the floor to press. If you have a handbook, look for Fire Protection System, the pics will help find it.

Read the first post guys, ive checked the cut off it isnt that

Found the problem anyway guys. Turns out the bump had pushed the radiator back which went into the crank position sensor and the oil pressure sensor and snapped them both.

New sensors and problem solved ?? Thanks for the input
