Hi,
I have a 2013 Scudo.
Last November, I had the power steering light come on, and then had a total loss of power steering, with just about every 'idiot' light coming on the dash!
The van went to my mechanic, who then took it to the local dealer.
The initial diagnosis was a failed Body Module!
After much time and consternation, they have only just now replaced the body module!
This is my work van and really need it back on the road!
And now they tell me that the power steering pump has indeed failed!
I will probably got my local mechanic to deal with the power steering pump, as the local dealership sucks big time! And they no longer deal with Fiat Commercials, although they still have Fiat cars.
I'm happy to provide my mechanic with the power steering pump.
Any pointers on where to buy and at a reasonable price?
The Dealership is only going to rip me off, already quoted me big $$$$$'s!

If you are after a one try euro car parts they have just about most parts for cars often see them delivering parts to main dealer's too allthrough I bet they charge full OEM price for them part's

They currently have a 33% off promotion too

I have found that euro parts are the most expensive

I have the same steering problem,

My garage wants £800 to fix it, there are 3/4 variations of electric motors that must be paired with the ECU
I can’t afford to muck up getting wrong part off eBay.
No matter how hard I try it looks like I’m going either get a new job or pay the price.
Is anyone on this site happy with fiat???
The only good advice I got was after I got my van from a secretary
That said we had a Fiat, she said fiat was short for “ fix it again Tony”

Well, my Scudo has been off the road for 4 months! After having the initial power steering failure, my Scudo eventually went to the local dealership. They diagnosed a failed body module. After much stuffing around, and sourcing a module from Italy, they installed the module, and then informed me that the power steering pump had indeed failed! Meanwhile, the battery also shat itself, probably from lack of use! Well, I sourced my own power steering unit from Italy, and it arrived in Australia in around 5 days! Thumbs up to DHL!
The drama continues. I got the van back today, but with another fault! Apparently its the EGR valve! Not sure if its just sticky from lack of use, and will clear up, or it is also cactus!
Seems to be going from one drama to another!
On a side issue, I had previously had the ECU coded, to allow the cargo section to auto unlock, when the drivers door was opened.
That is not happening, and now remains locked! Gonna be a pain until I can get that recoded! Not intending to take it back to the dealer.

I had my EGR valve by passed, less black smoke and better pick up from low revs.
Really happy with results
