Technical Fiat Scudo 90 multi jet missing air filter

I’ve just bought a fiat scudo 2008 90 multi jet and the air filter is missing. I’ve bought a second hand one. Is this a difficult job to fit for a novice?

Question 1..why was it removed

Looks like its a PSA XUD motor

Good engines

On my sons old 307 hdi the mounts failed.. and the plastic cover flailing around broke the plastic hose unions.. Orange coolant everywhere

I’m answer to question 1….no idea but may be because of the mounts! I will take a look. this is my first van and I have to admit to being a novice/idiot! I’ve actually found a few issues. Other one is that the fuse panel which I believed was behind the drivers side foot well is not there! Can’t find where the fuses get changed but there must be some somewhere because things are working. Any thoughts?

The vans are..and were a Joint venture so Citroen Fiat and Peugeot are very similar
