Qubo Fiat Qubo - Fan stays on - temp gauge not working

HI,

I own a Fiat Qubo -2009 - The fan stays on high speed,the temp gauge not working! I did a ECu scan,the Ecu registers the temp well, the problem is not with the termostat, its new , Engine light shows on the dashboard,any idea what it could be, i did notice the A/C connector is a bit loose, but when i did the diag,its all working?thanks in advance

Is this the 1248cc Diesel ?

Do you mean the 1st Engine cooling fan is running all the time?
( I believe 2nd Fan is Aircon system driven )

Ive not worked on a Qubo.. they are not common in the UK

You might find the Panda section has better information

Did you find ANY stored errors?


Good software can drive the fan..drive the Dashboard gauges..etc so could help diagnose a wiring..rather than a sensor fault

Hi thanks for your reply,
1248 diesel - yes,
2nd Fan and 1st running all the time,
replaced the thermostat,still the same,
Engine light is on display on the dashboard,
Erros acording to diag;Temp sensor circuit....T0115(not sure)
Temp Guage dont work,(use to)
ECU reads the temp
