iv just bought a fait punto x reg and ther is a light on the dash (key code) witch is on and as a rusult it fails to start would any body be able to give an idea into what may be the problem thanks

whats happen is iv changed the engine and never takeing my orignal ecu unit off my old one its gone now as i scraped the old one

If the key you have is the same as you used on your old engine, and you've put a new ECU on the CODE systems of the two will never match up.
