Grande Punto Fiat punto grande

I have a fiat punto grande 1.4 8v 2009 model and have been having electical problems I have seen a auto electrician who said I need a engine ECU but is a rare model so finding it hard to find one will post a picture of mine if anyone can recommend someone other then fiat who wants to charge me 600 pound for a reconditioned one any help much appreciated

Hi I was told that I needed a new ecu on my grand punto as was having a few electrical issues but it turns out that they are prone to getting water in the fuse box and this thows up all sorts of problems so removed the fuse box and the plugs on the bottom were full of water dried them out cleaned all the connections put it back and it solved all the issues

Thanks always seems to be earth's and fuse box. But lots of people will tell you it's the ecu even auto electricians but it usually turns out to be one of these.
