General Fiat parts or not??? Which to buy?

Hi there,

I've just gone to buy a pollen filter for my stilo dynamic from fiat, and had a big shock at the price - £20.20 plus vat!!! Ouch!!!!

This compares to £8 from euro car parts for pollen filter, and £15 for what they list as a carbon filter???

Sooo, would you guys recommend paying top whack for the fiat pollen filter, or will the euro car parts £8 one do the job just fine???

I was only expecting it to be approx £10 from fiat!!! Dreaming I think!!!

If you can get to an air line from a compressor a few people just blast the crap out of them, given they're not a vital engine part.

All filters made by reputable manufacturers are fine, for all applications. Your car is waaaaay out of Warranty so dont fret, Mahle, Unipart, Fram etc.. all are fine. Just avoid cheap copies from China & anything you dont recognize Brand wise.

Bottom line... as usual...

"If something looks too good to be true... it's probably crap..."
