Technical Fiat Panda key

Hi.
For some reason, one button in the key was broken inside, and I can't press it anymore. I bought a new key set on AE in order to replace the key case with the new buttons. For as much as I found on YouTube and other sites, in order to open the old key case, I need to use a utility knife to cut out the Fiat sign and find a screw underneath. But I find the sign removal very difficult. Maybe someone did it already and can tell me how? As seen in the attached photo around the sign, I tried it many times.

Thank you for the reply. Why should an airdryer help? Should it come out more easily when it's heated?

Softens the glue

The original glue is similar to double sided sellotape

Fingers crossed someone hasn't used something else, because the logo fell off in the past


You did order the correct shell, you want the one where the battery is under a separate cover, and not the one where the battery slots in the side


They are not compatible AE sell both types listed for the Panda


This is the same as yours

This is the wrong type and will damage the PCB

Hi again, Koalar.
I managed to keep using the key in the old-fashioned way for some time. Now I finally have some spare time and wanted to try to attend to this thing again. Could you please advise me again where I can find a new key, as you recommended, if not on AE?

If it's the shell that splits in half its this one
https://a.aliexpress.com/_EHeHKqG, that's the normal one here in the UK is don't know if Israel used the same, it's normally all you need

If the switch is broken it can be changed but is surfaced mount,.a mobile phone repair shop should be able to do that for you


If you buy a new key with PCB, it will be blank you have to pre program first with something like this

For a one off it's normally cheaper to get someone to do it for you
