Technical Fiat Multipla ABS.

Hi veryone, Im new here so go easy om me please!!!, I have a Multipla 2001 I.9 JTD, each time I turn the engine off, the ABS Warning light comes on with a Beep and the CU reads EBD Faulty Contact Garage. Does anyone have any Idea what this is? Cheers for the help!!

The ABS light goes out after 1-4 seconds, and the ABS system works when driving ?

Then there isn't enough juice in your battery when starting the car from cold.

The battery is most likely on its way out, also measure the DC voltage when the car is idle, should be 14 volts.

Does it only beep when turning the engine off. what about pre check before starting the engine.

Yes it does only beep when turning the engine off. At Start up it comes on then dissappears after about 4 secs!!

1. Try recharging the battery, see if the error message disappear.
2. Get the battery checked if bad replace it.

Bad battery, earth straps poor giving low voltage,(check all earth straps engine/subframe etc) crap around the wheel sensors from the snow and wet...
