I am putting back my car after changing the clutch.
The starter motor (original Denso) had one post for the electrical connectors. It uses a so-called shield (part 46554401).
Can anyone help me understand how to get the thing back on and the order of the wiring. It has a spring loaded circular part just to make things even tougher when working one handed under the car!
From my photo it looks like the black wire coming in from the top of the photo goes on first. Then the red from the left. The presumably I push the connector on, and the red wire from the right goes on followed by the nut.
The thing is the black shield seems to have small cutouts for the cable and is an absolute b%$%ger to get back on!
Anyone offer any suggestions please?
Getting this back on has been by far the hardest part of the whole clutch change.
These photos were when I was taking it off.

I figured it out after hours of struggling. The trick is to assemble the unit BEFORE it then goes onto the post.
Clip the black wire into position, then the red from the left pushes into place. Then the red from the right goes onto the end of the unit. Then when it's assembled push it onto the post and tighten it up. Then put the cap back on.
